Of the 96 units, ten are FPSOs or FSOs, 12 floating platforms and 74 fixed. The ANP estimates that by the end of next year, ten units should be decommissioned.

In its current business plan (2020-24), Petrobras plans to decommission 18 platforms: P-12, P-7, Cação 1, Cação 2, Cação 3, P-15, FPSO Piranema Spirit, P-33, P-32, P-26, P-37, FPSO Capixaba, Oeste de Ubarana, P-18, P-19, P-20, P-35 and Biquara.
Among them, only the first six had PDI approved by the Agency, which analyzes five programs, including that of P-15.
Developed in partnership with the Brazilian Navy and Ibama, the regulation is expected to enable, according to the agency, at least R$ 26 billion in investments in the next five years.

Currently, the three units P-15, P-12 and P-07 of Petrobras are anchored in the Campos Basin, about 120 km off the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Aiming to concentrate all efforts on pre-salt fields, Petrobras will divest from shallow water assets and has put the three units up for sale.
In addition to platforms P-15, P-12 and P-07, the ANP approved 19 decommissioning plans for installations for Petrobras, involving units such as FPSOs Piranema Spirit, Cidade do Rio de Janeiro, Espadarte, Brasil, Marlim Sul, Cidade de Rio das Ostras, among others
