ANP Conducted Inspections in 13 Federative Units, Verifying Fuel Quality, Correct Volume, Equipment and Documentation of Companies, Prioritizing Areas with Suspected Irregularities.
The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) intensified its inspection in various regions of Brazil, aiming to guarantee product quality and consumer safety. From May 20 to 23, inspections were conducted at gas stations and distributors to verify company compliance with current legislation.
In addition to inspecting the establishments, the ANP also conducted supervision of the equipment used, checking if they were functioning properly and in accordance with established standards. The results of these control actions will be released soon, aiming to maintain transparency and compliance with sector regulations.
Inspection Actions: Verification of Fuel Quality
During the inspection actions, the inspectors checked the quality of fuels, ensuring the correct volume is provided by the measuring pumps. Additionally, they verified the adequacy of the equipment and instruments necessary for the proper handling of products, as well as the authorization documentation for the operation of companies and the movement of fuels.
