Looking to give your career a new direction? The Technological Education Center of Amazonas (CETAM) has opened over 5 thousand slots in free technical courses at the secondary level and specializations in areas that are among the most sought after in the market. The opportunities range from administration to nursing, covering building construction, pharmacy, HR, chemistry, IT, logistics, occupational safety, and much more.
In addition to the capital Manaus, dozens of municipalities in the interior have also been included. The initiative, according to CETAM itself, aims to “broaden access to free technical education and train professionals aligned with the needs of Amazonas”.

Free Technical Courses Focused on the Job Market
The notice No. 010/2025 is aimed at those who have already completed high school and seek a solid education to quickly enter the job market. There are more than 4 thousand in-person slots, distributed across different strategic areas for the state economy.
Highlights include courses in Administration, Clinical Analysis, Building Construction, Electrotechnics, Nursing, Pharmacy, IT, Logistics, Mechanics, Environment, Chemistry, Human Resources, and Occupational Safety.
According to data from the Ministry of Education (MEC), technical trainings like these significantly increase the employability of young people and adults, in addition to offering more attractive salaries compared to unqualified occupations.
Technical Specializations in the Health Area
The notice No. 011/2025 is directed exclusively at professionals who hold a diploma in Nursing Technician. The aim is to deepen knowledge in sectors of high demand in Brazil.
There are 988 slots available for specializations in:
- Oncology
- Urgent and Emergency Care
- Surgical Instrumentation
- Obstetrics and Neonatology
- Elderly Health
According to the Federal Nursing Council (COFEN), specializations like these open doors to better-paying positions and are essential to meet the shortage of qualified professionals in hospitals and clinics in Amazonas.
How the Selection Process Will Work
The selection will be carried out through an objective test, scheduled for November 23, 2025, with 50 questions in Portuguese Language and Mathematics. The evaluation will have a maximum duration of three hours.
There will be reservations for slots for people with disabilities (PwD), in accordance with Brazilian legislation.
The candidate must present:
- Valid CPF
- Identity document
- Active email to receive official communications
For technical courses, the only requirement is to have completed high school. For specializations, proof of complete education as a Nursing Technician, including a supervised internship of 600 hours, is necessary.
Official Schedule
- Registrations: from September 25 to October 9, 2025
- Confirmation Card: available from November 3, 2025
- Objective Test: November 23, 2025
- Final Result: according to the schedule on the official website
- Enrollment: valid only for the 2026 school year

Registrations are free and can be made exclusively through the Concursos Copec website. The candidate may only choose one course and one municipality.
