Archer Signed a US$ 20 Million Contract with Trident Energy for Drilling Services in Brazil. Activities Will Commence in the Second Quarter of 2024 at the Pampo Field, Campos Basin.
As a leading company in drilling services and well interventions, Archer recently announced its partnership with Trident Energy to carry out a series of services in Brazil. According to the website Petronotícias, the contract is valued at approximately US$ 20 million and will have an initial duration of two years. With the possibility of extension for another year, followed by an additional extension subject to mutual agreement, with activities at the Pampo field.
The agreement covers a range of activities, from well interventions to meet regulatory requirements to workover operations and well maintenance, as well as drilling facility engineering.

Start of Services Scheduled for the Second Quarter of 2024
The start of services is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024, following a reactivation and recertification period for the platform managed by the Operations group on Archer’s Platform.
Activities will commence on the Pampo PP1 platform, located in the Pampo field, in the Campos Basin, a strategic area for the Brazilian energy industry.
This contract marks another significant step in Archer’s ongoing growth in the Brazilian energy market.
Since its entry into the country in 2010, the company has played a key role in the sector, starting with work for Equinor in the Peregrino fields and expanding its operations over the years.
