Fiat Strada Leads Pickup Sales in Brazil. New: VW Amarok Returns to Top 10.

The Fiat Strada stood out once again in November 2023, with the sale of 11,518 new units, remaining the most sold pickup in Brazil, according to Fenabrave data.

The success of the Fiat Strada shows consumer preference for compact and versatile pickups that meet urban and rural needs. Pickups have been increasingly popular in the national automotive market.

The Stellantis model has no rivals in the segment and, year-to-date, it has recorded 110,028 cars sold, more than the sum of the second and third place, Fiat Toro (46,597) and Toyota Hilux (41,856). This clearly demonstrates the consolidated leadership of pickups, also known as utility vehicles, in the preference of Brazilian consumers.

The two pickups chasing the Strada in the overall ranking closed November 2023 in the same positions. The Fiat pickup was the second most sold of the month, with 4,418 registrations, while the Toyota completed the podium for the period with 3,783.

The Volkswagen Saveiro, 3rd in October, fell to 4th place in November, with 3,095 units sold, and is already seeing the RAM Rampage approaching dangerously in the rearview mirror, which registered 3,026 new pickups and jumped from 7th to 5th place.

In the second half of the list of the 10 best-selling pickups in Brazil in November 2023, the main news was the return of the Volkswagen Amarok to the ranking after a month of absence.

The German manufacturer’s pickup closed the top 10 with 932 registrations, pushing the Renault Oroch, 10th in October, to the 11th position. Year-to-date, however, the French brand’s model remains ahead, in 9th place, with 11,375 units sold against 7,280 for the Amarok, 13th on the list.
