Brazil maintained its leadership in coffee exports by reaching US$ 12.715 billion between January and October 2025, according to Cecafé.
The result exceeded the same period in 2024, when revenue was US$ 9.96 billion. The international appreciation sustained financial growth even in the face of a decline in embarked volume.
Reduction In Volume And Arabica Predominance
Exports totaled 33.28 million bags of 60 kg for the year, a quantity lower than the 41.77 million registered in 2024.

Arabica accounted for 79.9% of shipments, with 26.60 million bags. Conilon represented 3.51 million and soluble coffee reached 3.11 million.
In October, the trend was similar. The volume sent abroad reached 4.14 million bags, a 20% decline compared to the same month in 2024. However, revenue reached US$ 1.65 billion, an increase of 12.6%.
Movement In Destinations And Chinese Advancement
The monthly ranking indicated changes among the main buyers. Germany led with 609.5 thousand bags and a share of 14.7%. Italy placed second with 360.73 thousand. The United States came in third with 347.53 thousand, registering a decrease of 54.37%.
China advanced to sixth place after purchasing 221.78 thousand bags and growing 176.42%. Colombia also stood out by reaching the tenth position with 101.63 thousand bags and an increase of 308.40%.
Performance Of The United States And Specialty Coffees
For the calendar year, the United States maintained the first position with 4.711 million bags, despite a reduction of 28.1%. The recent removal of the tariff increased expectations for sales recovery.
Specialty coffees accounted for 6.58 million bags, equivalent to 19.8% of the total exported, generating US$ 2.8 billion. The United States, Germany, and Belgium led the demand in this segment.
