The International Beef Market Showed Signs Of Strength In August 2025. With Increasing Shipments, High Prices, And Significant Revenue, The Sector Managed To Maintain The Expansion Pace That Had Already Been Observed In Previous Months. The Performance Reinforces Brazil’s Relevance As One Of The World’s Main Exporters Of The Product, Because It Shows The Combination Of High Volume And Revenue Growth. Moreover, The Result Obtained Puts The Country In A Strategic Position In The Face Of Strong Global Demand.

Brazilian beef exports ended August 2025 on a high note, with 268.5 thousand tons shipped in 21 working days. This volume secured the second best result of the year, behind only July, which recorded 276.9 thousand tons. Compared to August 2024, the increase was 23.5%, since during that period 217.4 thousand tons were shipped.

Daily Average Growing

The daily average of exports reached 12.7 thousand tons. This level represents an increase of 23.5% compared to the daily average of the previous year, which was 9.8 thousand tons.

The performance confirms the strength of the sector in the external market, as it shows consistent evolution throughout the period.

Revenue In Strong Growth

Revenue also accompanied the physical growth. In the fifth week of August, revenue reached US$ 1.504 billion. In August 2024, the amount had been US$ 964.2 million.

Therefore, the increase was significant. Meanwhile, the daily average revenue in the fourth week was US$ 71.6 million, a growth of 56% compared to the previous year, which was US$ 43.8 million.

High Prices

In addition to the increase in volume and revenue, prices also showed appreciation. By the fifth week of August 2025, the average price paid for beef was US$ 5,600 per ton.

In the same month of 2024, the average price was US$ 4,435 per ton. This represents a gain of 26.3% over twelve months, reinforcing the attractiveness of Brazilian products in the international market.
