Performance in Brazil Exceeds Expectations
Considering the price of the model in the national market, the mark of 1,500 registrations is impressive. The most basic version of the 911 starts at R$ 930 thousand and can exceed R$ 1 million with the addition of options.
Even so, the model became the absolute leader among sports cars sold in the country in 2024.
Among direct competitors, the 911 easily surpassed its sibling, the Boxster, which recorded 877 units sold.
The Ford Mustang, another strong name in the segment, registered 681 cars. The Cayman, also from Porsche, sold 342 units, while the BMW M2 reached 256.
Within Porsche, the 911 Only Loses to the Cayenne
The good performance of the 911 also stood out within Porsche’s own lineup in Brazil. The model only trailed the Cayenne SUV, which led the brand’s sales with 1,618 units delivered.
The third place went to the Macan, with 1,362 units. In total, the brand sold 6,172 vehicles in Brazil during the year 2024.
Versions and Performance
In the country, the 911 is offered in different configurations, including coupe, convertible, and prepared sports versions.
The entry-level configuration, called Carrera, comes equipped with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, delivering 401 horsepower and 45.8 kgfm of torque.
According to manufacturer data, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. With the optional Sport Chrono package, this time drops to 3.9 seconds. The top speed is 294 km/h.
The most powerful version in the lineup, called GT3, features a 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine and 510 horsepower.
The torque is the same as the base version, but performance numbers increase. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurs in just 3.4 seconds, and the top speed reaches 311 km/h.
Standard Equipment Impresses
Even in the entry-level versions, the 911 includes a complete package of equipment. Among the offered items are wheels up to 21 inches, LED Matrix headlights, power seats with 14 adjustments and memory, a Bose sound system with 12 speakers and 570 watts of power, a multifunction steering wheel with heating, and driving assistance systems.
Safety highlights include a collision warning system, brake assist with pedestrian protection, and lane-keeping assistance.
With this package, the Porsche 911 remains one of the most desired models on the market — and now with a loyal base in Brazil as well.
