Bureau Veritas, a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), announces Alexandre Dias as the new Director of Marketing and Sales in Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. With over 19 years of experience, the executive takes on the position with the mission of strengthening the multisectoral action of the Group, in addition to expanding its presence in strategic markets such as Agribusiness, Energy and Industry. Dias’ central strategy is to invest in developing leaderships and expanding the company’s portfolio, focusing on sustainable solutions.
“One of Bureau Veritas’ great differentiators is its plurality of solutions and operational reach. More than ever, our action will be guided by quality, integrity and innovation to help our clients face the challenging economic moment and achieve sustainable development. The energy transition, for example, is one of the most prominent debates and Brazil has enormous potential to lead the global market, but companies still struggle with the lack of tools on how to make the most of the sector’s opportunities,” says Alexandre Dias, Director of Marketing and Sales at Bureau Veritas. For the executive, continuous investment in employee training and building a conducive learning environment are essential to form high-performance teams, capable of meeting the specific needs of each sector and anticipating trends.
With extensive experience in the TIC market, Alexandre Dias has a strategic vision to identify expansion opportunities in potential markets. Since joining Bureau Veritas in 2019, the then Commercial Manager has been responsible for leveraging new contracts in the Mining and Steel sectors, as well as expanding the scope of services with strategic clients in the Oil & Gas and Infrastructure sectors. Dias also led projects in the areas of Energy, Maritime & Offshore and Agribusiness, contributing to the significant growth of the Group in Brazil. The executive holds a degree in Control and Automation Engineering from Mauá Engineering School and has an MBA in Strategic Management and Economic Business from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
