The submarine fiber optic cable (5G) will provide the first ultra-high-quality connection. The extension contains more than six thousand kilometers of submarine cable linking the capital of Ceará to Sines and is expected to be completed by mid-next year, aiming to improve the performance of telecommunications platforms.

Ministry Of Communications Talks About New Submarine Cable
According to the Ministry of Communications of Brazil, the submarine fiber optic cable has storage capacity more than six thousand times greater than the current one, and the costs of this project are expected to be around R$ 1 billion.
