Applications Open for Bank of America Trainee Program in SP. The Positions are for Black Candidates Seeking Their First Job
Check out the open positions exclusive to Black students in their final year or recent graduates in any undergraduate course, opened by Bank of America for its new trainee program. Without requiring English proficiency, the bank’s goal is to attract talent and provide the necessary training to accelerate their careers. Therefore, the company does not have a fixed number of openings; the number of hires will be determined after the pre-selection of candidates.

The program is part of a strategy to increase diversity in the bank. In 2020, 13% of hired trainees were Black. Worldwide, Bank of America recorded a 20% increase in ethnic diversity in leadership positions since 2009.
According to the company, the expectation is that the hired candidates will develop in business areas and be prepared to take on leadership positions in the medium and long term.

The Program lasts for 18 months. The initiative offers rotation among areas, mentoring, and development with bank leaders, English classes, and the possibility of promotion after the program ends.
The positions are for the São Paulo office, and the expectation is that the trainee class will start in July. The resume screening will be done with Instituto Ser+.
Trainees also have the possibility of promotion after the completion of the program in one of the bank’s business areas.
