The transmission needed to be replaced, a service that took about 40 days.

“On January 3, 2025, we picked up the Tiggo 7 Sport at the dealership in Porto Alegre (RS). We were very happy because the car is beautiful, has an impressive design, both inside and out, and drives very well. The following weekend, we woke up early because we had plans to go to Gramado to enjoy the new car on a trip. Before we hit the road, the car stopped in the middle of the street and, in no way (sic), moved again. This happened eight days after we got the car, with [only] 247 km on the odometer,”

In response to owners who experienced problems, the company has been replacing the transmission at no cost when the defect is covered by the factory warranty.

In the mentioned case from Porto Alegre, the owner received assistance through the brand’s customer service, was provided with a loaner car during the repair, but complained about the delay.
