Chinese Giant Announces Its First Electric Car
As it is difficult for companies in China to keep new products a secret, real photos of Xiaomi’s first electric car, a giant in the smartphone sector, leaked through the social network Weibo.
Photos of an actual prototype of the model, named Xiaomi MS11, were shared without camouflage paint by a user on the microblog, revealing a little more about the model’s design, which has already been seen disguised during tests.
The leaked model is very similar to the Seal, from Chinese BYD, one of the largest brands in China. Its headlights are also reminiscent of those of the McLaren 720S and the taillights of Aston Martin. The unit shown in the photos on the social network features a panoramic glass roof, large wheels with Brembo brakes, and the company’s logo in the center of the rims.
