The Energy Company of Minas Gerais, popularly known as Cemig, has just released its latest public competition announcement. This call offers no less than 240 job vacancies, open to candidates of various education levels. These 240 vacancies announced in the Cemig 2023 competition are divided into job positions for high school, high school/technical, and higher education, with salaries ranging from R$2,544.62 to an impressive R$10,302.
Of the open positions, 176 are for candidates with high school and/or technical education, while the remaining 64 are for positions that require a higher education degree.

Available Opportunities
The Cemig 2023 competition offers a wide range of positions, distributed across various locations in the state of Minas Gerais, and we have separated below the vacancies by education levels, check it out:
High School:
- Business Technician.
High School/Technical:
- Technician in various fields such as Cartography, Electroelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Nursing, and more.
Higher Education:
- Vacancies for professionals such as Lawyers, Business Analysts in various areas, Social Workers, Occupational Nurses, Engineers in diverse fields, and Meteorologists.
For all positions, the workweek will be 40 hours, with Saturday counted as a paid workday. The only exception applies to the Junior Social Worker position, which will have a workload of 30 hours per week.
How To Participate In The Cemig 2023 Competition?
Those interested in participating in the Cemig 2023 competition can register online from September 18 to October 18. To do so, it is necessary to fill out a form with all the required information on the official site of Fundep, the organizing body. The registration fees vary according to the education level required for the position, being R$65.00 for high school and high school/technical levels, and R$100.00 for higher education.
The approved candidates will be hired under the legal regime of the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), which guarantees rights such as FGTS and unemployment insurance.
What Are The Stages Of The Contest
The selection process in the Cemig contest will involve up to three phases: a multiple-choice objective test, a pre-employment health evaluation, and a probationary period. The objective test is scheduled for November 19, from 1 PM to 5 PM, and will be applied in several municipalities in Minas Gerais.
Candidates with high school and high school/technical education will be evaluated in Portuguese Language, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, Basic Informatics, and Specific Knowledge, while those with higher education will face questions in Portuguese Language, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, Basic Informatics, Advanced Mathematics, and Specific Knowledge.
