I Bring You Fresh News Directly from China That Will Impress You. In June 2024, China Took a Giant Step in Renewable Energy by Completing the World’s First Large-Scale Semi-Solid State BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Power Plant, Located in Zhejiang.
The power plant, developed by Kehua, has an energy storage system with 100 megawatts and 200 megawatt-hours, using lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. This project is not only large in scale, but also in innovation. The semi-solid state batteries offer greater safety and reliability, essential for the stability of the electricity grid in eastern China.
The secret to success lies in the integration of the semi-solid batteries with high-performance converters. Kehua installed 1.25 megawatt converters connected in parallel, through a 5,000 KVA transformer, resulting in a grid-connected output of 35 KVA. This ensures incredible energy efficiency and system stability that has been highly praised.
Environmental Benefits of China’s First Semi-Solid State Power Plant
In addition to all this technological innovation, the power plant has a huge positive impact on the environment. At full capacity, the plant can store 200,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity and has an annual discharge capacity that exceeds 60 million kilowatt-hours.

With 5.6 trillion tons of natural hydrogen beneath the Earth, 26 times the known oil and more energy than all the natural gas in the world, the new gold rush is already mobilizing Bill Gates, Amazon, and Petrobras.
-
U.S. researchers publish the first national map of natural hydrogen, placing 30 states on the radar and changing what was known about clean energy in the American underground.
-
Solar-powered ice factory in the Amazon that eliminated a 5-hour trip to Manaus, prevents the loss of up to two-thirds of the fish, and now ensures income for more than 30 riverside families.

Every time a river flows into the sea, an amount of energy equivalent to a 120-meter waterfall is silently wasted, but Japan has just inaugurated the world’s first power plant that captures this waste and transforms it into electricity 24 hours a day without sun, wind, or fuel.
This translates into savings of approximately 23,000 standard tons of coal and a reduction of about 72,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. That’s a lot!
The BESS power plant plays a crucial role in balancing energy supply and demand, supporting local energy transition initiatives. By smoothing load peaks and optimizing grid usage, it helps make the energy system more efficient and reliable.
Kehua: Leader in Technology
With over 36 years of experience in power electronics technology, Kehua has established itself as a global leader in photovoltaic installations and energy storage solutions. As of 2023, the company had already deployed over 46 gigawatts of PV installations and 15.2 gigawatts of energy storage installations worldwide. Not bad, right?
Kehua’s commitment to clean energy solutions and sustainable innovation remains strong. The company is determined to lead the transition to a greener and more sustainable energy future by advancing PV and energy storage technologies to promote a zero-carbon lifestyle.

Li dez vezes procurando a pequena cidade do Brasil.
Se não fizerem fake na chamada, ninguém lê a matéria…piada
