Colormaq, a manufacturer of household appliances and home solutions, announced the establishment of a new industrial unit in Bahia. The new Colormaq factory will be built in the municipality of Amélia Rodrigues, in the metropolitan region of Feira de Santana, where it already has a plant, and is expected to generate around 1,500 jobs.
New Factory Will Have 43 Thousand m² and Promises Change in Bahia

With the arrival of the new Colormaq factory, there is a significant projection for the expansion of direct and indirect job opportunities for the municipality, generating jobs that will strengthen the local economy and benefit the entire community.
The construction of the new Colormaq factory is about to begin and will have a plant of 43,000 m² of built area. The idea is that the new factory will focus on the manufacturing of washers, water coolers or purifiers, and automatic washing machines. The daily production capacity will be 6,000 washers, 1,500 water coolers/purifiers, and 1,500 automatic washing machines.

Authorities Speak Out About the Arrival of the New Colormaq Factory in Bahia
According to João Bahia, mayor of Amélia Rodrigues, there has been a lot of dedication to bringing this opportunity to Amélia Rodrigues. He highlights that his trip to Araçatuba was part of this effort to ensure that Colormaq chose his city as its new home.
He also emphasizes the commitment of his General Coordinator of Industry and Commerce, Danilo Conceição, the Secretary of Agriculture, Industry, Commerce, and the Environment, Beto Bacelar, and the Secretary of Works, Davi Grilo, who are also working to boost the industrial sector in the city.
According to Jarrier Belmonte Silve, co-owner of Colormaq, the support from the city hall was essential for the realization of the new Colormaq factory.
