Who Are Bill Gates’ Children
Bill Gates, who was married to Melinda Gates, as mentioned, has three children, the heirs of the billionaire. The eldest of the trio is Jennifer Gates. At 27, she completed her master’s in public health at Columbia University last year. Recently, she received the Excellence in General Public Health Award after studying biology at Stanford.

The middle child is Rory, who is 23 years old and graduated from the University of Chicago with a double major and a master’s degree.

Finally, the youngest of the three is Phoebe Gates. She, like her two siblings, will receive about US$ 10 million from their father’s inheritance, is a Stanford student, and is an activist for reproductive rights and gender equality.

In communicating about the sharing, Bill Gates highlighted that his children will receive a great education and, even with only 1% of his inheritance, will never be poor. “Our children will receive a great education and some money, so they will never be poor, but will have their own careers,” he said.
“Fourth Child Benefited”
Of the 99% of Bill Gates‘ inheritance, a large portion will be allocated to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a nonprofit foundation founded by the billionaire and Melinda, his ex-wife. Recently, the magnate stated that the foundation is his “fourth child.”
According to him, the intention is to spend about $9 billion a year (R$ 44 billion) on innovation areas by 2026. Among the targeted topics for these investments are the prevention of future pandemics, the reduction of child mortality, the improvement of food security, and climate adaptation.
