Neoortho, a national reference in orthopedic solutions, has taken an important step towards consolidating its leadership in the market. The company announced the construction of a new factory in Curitiba, with an estimated investment of R$120 million.
The expansion will allow the company to triple its production capacity, reaching an impressive 5 million pieces per year. With this, the company reinforces its commitment to innovation and expands its presence in Brazil and Latin America.

A milestone for Neoortho and for Curitiba
The investment in the new unit is part of a robust strategy by Neoortho to meet the growing demand in the orthopedic market.
The new factory is expected to start operating in the first half of 2026. This is a remarkable fact, as the company celebrates its 2025th anniversary in 20.
With a total area of 7,7 square meters, the new factory will be much larger than the company's current structure, which occupies just 1,8 square meters of production space and 400 square meters of office space.
Dr. Geninho Thomé, founder and president of Neoortho, highlighted the importance of this step:
“The significant growth we have experienced in recent years reinforces the need to expand our structure to meet the growing demand in the Brazilian and Latin American markets. The new factory is a fundamental step for us to continue innovating and expanding our impact on health.”
Boosting the local economy and creating new jobs
Neoortho’s expansion will have a direct impact on Curitiba’s local economy.
The company currently has 199 direct employees and around 1.000 indirect employees. With the opening of the new factory, the expectation is that around 25% more direct jobs will be created, which will contribute to strengthening the local economy and the growth of the industrial sector.
In addition, the new unit will be a platform to promote events, workshops and strengthen ties with professionals and decision-makers in the health sector.
The expansion of production capacity will also enable Neoortho to further diversify its offerings, creating new possibilities in the orthopedic sector, with a greater focus on technology and product customization.
Modernization and innovation in production processes
Neoortho's new factory will also be a milestone in terms of modernizing its processes.
The company is designing a highly technological space, with a more linear and integrated workflow, which will allow the optimization of its production processes.
According to Pedro Carvalho, the company's industrial director,
“This new space will allow for a more linear workflow, with even more organized and technological processes. We are creating an environment that favors innovation and productivity, consolidating Neoortho as a reference in orthopedic solutions. In addition, we reaffirm Neoortho’s commitment to Curitiba, contributing to job creation and local economic development.”
Furthermore, the integration between the factory and the offices will be an important differentiator, promoting greater operational efficiency and strengthening communication between employees.
The new unit will also house an area dedicated to Neocustom, a division of Neoortho specialized in the manufacture of customized 3D and titanium implants, consolidating the company's focus on customization and precision in orthopedic treatment.
