The Mercedes War Truck Zetros Is One of the Most Robust and Versatile Vehicles Ever Produced by the Manufacturer. Learn More About This Impressive Model and Find Out If It Is Really the Strongest Truck in Mercedes History.

Founded in 1901, Mercedes has produced trucks that have made history on the roads of Brazil and the world. Among these special models, the Zetros stands out, an off-road truck with military potential, widely used in forestry operations and transportation through difficult terrains.

Initially, the Zetros line was offered in the 1833 model, with 4×4 traction, and 2733, with 6×6 traction. Both have an OM924LA engine, 6 inline cylinders, with 326 horsepower and 1,300 Nm of torque. Later, the 3643 and 4043 models were launched, with 428 horsepower and 2,100 Nm of torque.

The Zetros, From Mercedes, Is Noted for the Comfort Offered to the Driver, Who Usually Faces Critical Climatic and Mobility Conditions, Such as Deserts or Extremely Cold Areas.

The cabin is practical, durable, and easy to clean. The steering system is secure and intuitive, with consoles that secure the body to the chassis, preventing impacts.

In the military sector, the Mercedes Zetros can be equipped with hatches for weapon support. In the civilian sector, it is widely used in large construction projects, mining, environmental disaster response, expedition services, agriculture, and energy-related operations.

The Model Features the BlueTec System, a Diesel Technology That Saves Fuel, Essential for a Vehicle That Operates on Long and Desolate Roads Without Frequent Refueling Possibility.

In 2019, the Zetros line underwent a redesign that increased its power to 510 horsepower and 2,400 Nm of torque. An interesting fact is that the Zetros set the record for the highest altitude reached by a land vehicle, reaching an impressive 6,700 meters after traveling through the Andes Mountains.

With all these attributes, many experts believe that the Zetros is the strongest truck in Mercedes history. Unfortunately, this model is not available in Brazil, which is a shame for enthusiasts and professionals in the country.
