On May 23rd of this month, there will be an auction by the Federal Revenue at Viracopos International Airport. Among the highlights up for bid are iPhones starting at R$ 500 and an emerald that has a starting bid of R$ 115 million.

According to information revealed by the Federal Revenue itself, there are 245 lots for auction. Among the items, there are numerous electronics and computer equipment, such as an Xbox video game that has a starting bid of R$ 400.

In addition to the mentioned items, the auction also includes many items of clothing, household utensils, costume jewelry, vehicle accessories, and others.

Who Can Participate in the Auction?

According to the Federal Revenue, both individuals and legal entities can participate in the auction, which can be directly followed on the Federal Revenue’s website.

How to Participate in the Auction?

Anyone interested in participating in the Federal Revenue auction must register through the Electronic Auction System of the Virtual Taxpayer Service Center (e-CAC).

This person must be over 18 years old, be silver or gold in the federal government’s digital identity system, and follow these steps:

Access the e-CAC and click on the “Others” category and then on “Participate in the Federal Revenue electronic auction”;
Select the auction notice with the number 0817700/000001/2024 – VIRACOPOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT;
Choose the lot you want to bid on and click “include proposal.”

It is important to highlight that each person can make only one proposal per lot, which can be changed until the end of the period, and that other participation rules are available in the notice provided by the Federal Revenue.
