Bolsa Família Releases Payments For August Starting On The 18th; See How To Withdraw Through Caixa Tem And The Gas Assistance Calendar.
The Bolsa Família calendar for August 2025 is already defined. Payments begin on the 18th and continue until the 29th. Beneficiaries with a Social Identification Number (NIS) ending in 1 will be the first to receive, while those with a final NIS of 0 will receive last.
In addition to the minimum amount of R$ 600 per family, some beneficiaries will also be granted gas assistance this month.
The social program assists millions of low-income families throughout Brazil, with additional benefits according to family composition.

Mothers of infants up to 6 months receive six installments of R$ 50, to ensure the child’s nutrition.
Families with pregnant women and children aged 7 to 18 receive an additional R$ 50 per member. Families with children up to 6 years old receive an extra R$ 150.
The gas assistance, paid in even months, covers 100% of the average price of a 13 kg gas cylinder, according to the national average calculated by the National Agency of Petroleum (ANP).
The initiative aims to reduce the impact of cooking gas prices on the budgets of the most vulnerable families.
How To Withdraw The Bolsa Família In August
Beneficiaries can access the money without needing to go to a Caixa Econômica Federal agency.
The Caixa Tem app allows users to pay bills, make transfers, and perform purchases using a virtual debit card.
It is also possible to withdraw the amount at ATMs, lottery houses, and bank correspondents.
Accessing Caixa Tem requires a CPF and a registered password. In case of difficulties, the beneficiary can reset the password through the app.
Those who prefer to withdraw cash must bring a photo ID to a lottery house or ATM.

Who Can Receive The Bolsa Família
To receive, the family must have an income of up to R$ 218 per person. It is necessary to be registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico), done at the Social Assistance Reference Centers (Cras).
Registration in CadÚnico does not automatically guarantee entry into the program, but it is the first step to be evaluated and receive the benefit.
