A YouTuber was recording a video while driving through a small town in New Hampshire, USA, when he noticed something unusual: an apparently abandoned dealership, but with the interior filled with classic cars.
The mysterious structure, later identified as the South Weare Ford dealership, contained an impressive row of classic vehicles, including rare models from Ford, Chevrolet, and even a fire truck. The recording, posted on Amesie’s channel, quickly piqued the curiosity of internet users around the world.
Due to the curiosity and the growing popularity of the video, Amesie returned to the site several times. On each visit, he documented the changes he found, such as the disappearance of some vehicles, further fueling the mystery and fascination surrounding this abandoned dealership.

Chevrolet Tornado Van 2026 emerges as a compact van cheaper than many popular cars in Brazil, with a 1.5 engine, 6-speed manual transmission, 650 kg load capacity, 3.3 m³ of usable space, and fuel consumption of up to 18.1 km/l for about R$ 87,000 in tax-free conversion; an urban utility vehicle that Brazilians don’t have, but Mexico does.

Forget the basic popular car: used sedans like Passat CC, Kia Cerato, Nissan Altima, Mitsubishi Lancer, and Volvo S60 show that it’s still possible to buy more performance, comfort, and technology for less than many new compacts.

Used Honda Civic: 3 versions of the Japanese sedan with naturally aspirated engines of up to 155 hp, fuel consumption of up to 13.8 km/l, robust automatic transmission, and a reputation for reliable mechanics still dominate the used car market in Brazil.

Toyota Hilux becomes a ‘cargo truck’: automaker declares a new era for the pickup with greater capacity, reinforced chassis, 2.8 turbodiesel engine, raised suspension, 1,525 kg load capacity, and targets Ford Ranger Super Duty, which tows an impressive 4,500 kg.

The Rare Cars
The South Weare Ford housed vehicles that made any car enthusiast dream. Among the models were:
- 1941 Ford Woodie Wagon: One of the icons of 40s automotive design.
- 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible: Known for its sophistication and classic appeal.
- 1977 Chevrolet Corvette: One of the most iconic sports cars in theUSA.
- Ford Thunderbird: Another classic from Ford, widely recognized.

In addition to these vehicles, Amesie found a fire truck from the Seagrave brand and other period vehicles that were deteriorating over time. The state of abandonment was evident, especially with the partial roof collapse, which ended up damaging an old Buick and the fire truck.

A Tragic Ending Story?
Stories of abandoned places like this dealership are, unfortunately, more common than we imagine. Often, these properties have tragic stories of family businesses that, for some reason, ended up closing their doors.

Over time, the location becomes a capsule of the past, preserving a piece of automotive history that eventually gets forgotten.
Promotional signs indicating that “everything was for sale” were seen in front of the building, suggesting that the owner or heirs were trying to sell the remaining cars.
Locations like South Weare Ford awaken a sense of nostalgia and curiosity, a reminder of a time when these vehicles represented the pinnacle of engineering and automotive design. Although the fate of many of these cars is unknown, there is hope that they have found new homes and are in the process of restoration, receiving the care they deserve.
These urban mysteries remind us that, even in modern times, stories can remain hidden, waiting for someone curious enough to reveal them.
