The Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) has opened applications for Selection Process No. 254/2025, offering free technical courses integrated with High School in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) modality.
The initiative is aimed at those who have already completed Elementary School and wish to resume their studies with a professional qualification recognized throughout the country.
In total, there are 525 positions distributed across IFSP campuses in different cities in the state. Classes begin in the first semester of 2026 and represent a real opportunity for qualification and reintegration into the job market.

Classes are completely in-person, with an average duration of three years and held in the evening, which facilitates participation for those who work during the day. Each course sums up a full workload, with activities that involve theoretical classes, laboratories, forums, seminars, and practical assessments, conducted by experienced teachers and modern facilities in all campuses.

525 Positions Distributed In 13 Cities In São Paulo
The selection process offers 525 free positions distributed among IFSP campuses in Araraquara, Barretos, Birigui, Campinas, Capivari, Cubatão, Jacareí, Jundiaí, Matão, Pirituba, São Paulo, Sertãozinho, and Suzano.
Each campus makes available 20 positions per course, with classes in the evening — except for Pirituba, which will have morning classes.
The courses are especially aimed at those who wish to enter the technical job market or enhance their knowledge in strategic areas such as mechanics, commerce, and logistics, sectors with high demand throughout the state of São Paulo.
Selection Process And Quotas
The selection process is free and will be conducted by electronic draw on December 9, 2025. The only exception is the Capivari campus, where in-person interviews will take place on December 9 and 10.
The announcement also provides for reserved positions according to Law No. 12.711/2012, ensuring opportunities for candidates who completed elementary education in public schools, people with disabilities, quilombolas, indigenous individuals, and self-declared black and brown individuals.
If there are remaining positions, there will be reallocation among the reserve lists, ensuring full enrollment in the classes. The final result will be published on December 19, 2025, on the IFSP website.
Anyone Who Has Completed Elementary School, Regardless Of Age, Can Participate!
People who have already completed elementary school, regardless of age, can apply. It is necessary to have a Gmail account to fill out the online form and, if the candidate does not have internet access, they can visit the campus of interest to use the computers made available by the institute. An official photo ID, CPF, and proof of address are also required.
According to the rector Silmário Batista dos Santos, the program reinforces IFSP’s commitment to educational inclusion:
