Approximately 234,416 job openings have already been authorized and three notices published, the next will be released by May 2020.

Notice for 196,000 job openings for elementary level for the IBGE – The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, which anticipates new public competitions, will be released soon. A total of over 230,000 temporary positions are expected. Speaking of competitions, the Navy is currently accepting applications with salaries exceeding 9,000 reais.

The IBGE is authorized to open 234,416 job openings. These will be distributed according to municipalities across the country. The notices are expected to be published soon and according to the amendment, it may be authorized by May 2020.

Of these, at least 196,000 temporary job openings will be for the position of Enumerators, which only requires elementary level education. These new notices will open opportunities for municipal census agents, census coders, enumerators, supervisors (call center), census supervisor agents, and PA supervisors.

For the position of census agent, candidates must have at least a complete high school education. The salary is R$ 2,000.00, which can reach R$ 2,458.00 with meal assistance.

The IBGE has responsibilities related to geosciences and social, demographic, and economic statistics, which includes conducting censuses and organizing the information obtained from these censuses, to supply governmental bodies at the federal, state, and municipal levels, as well as other institutions and the general public.
