This model is listed on the famous classifieds site eBay, and according to the listing, it is a Super Bugger from 1969. The prospective buyer of the VW motorhome Beetle will need to shell out US$ 39,995, equivalent to R$ 216,43 thousand in direct conversion. It is worth noting that at the location, the model was referred to as Beetle.

The estimate is that about 1,000 units of this vehicle were developed at the time. The motorhome was designed with a bold appearance. You can notice that its front still resembles that of an original Beetle, while the back features the converted part. It’s also evident how well-preserved the vehicle is. The model is painted red. The owner of the vehicle claims to have owned it for 25 years.
VW Motorhome Beetle Has 53 Horsepower
The painting, in red, was done in the same year; however, the tires are new. The white panels are clean and free of cracks. The owner states that the motorhome Beetle is only towed to car fairs, meaning the car is not used daily.
The interior of the motorhome Beetle features typical elements of such a vehicle, although it has undergone some changes. According to the owner of the model, the seats, which are also red, were refurbished. Meanwhile, the carpet and the Dinette seats are original.
The same applies to the sink and the two-burner stove. It can be seen in the photos that the model also has a front Safari window and a table. The cabinets are positioned above. This car is equipped with a 1.6 boxer engine, four cylinders, and runs on gasoline, capable of generating a maximum output of 53 horsepower, making it ideal for driving through cities and quiet roads.
Beetle Was Sold in Brazil in 1959
As mentioned earlier, the Beetle was sold in the United States under the name Beetle. There, the car was marketed between the years 1950 and 1979. Additionally, the more modern phases of the Beetle were also sold in the following decades.
Here in Brazil, the classic from Volkswagen was sold between the years 1959 and 1986. In its second phase, the model was produced from 1993 to 1996.
The estimate is that the original model had about three million units sold during this period. It is important to highlight that this was the first vehicle produced by VW, from 1938 to 2003.
