Course Created to Train “Good Hackers.” A Total of 30 Thousand Slots Aiming to Train Those Enrolled in the Initiative.
In recent years, the internet has become increasingly dangerous due to hackers, who are often malicious and attempt to steal sensitive data from internet users, such as banking information.
With the aim of training individuals who do the opposite work, registrations have been launched for a course aimed at training “good hackers”. This is because Brazil currently faces a shortage of more than 330,000 professionals in the cybersecurity field.
According to the National Teaching and Research Network (RNP), a social organization linked to the Ministry of Science and Technology and responsible for the online and free course “Good Hackers”, the initiative will last for one year.

In this sense, it is clear that the target audience includes students from technical, high school, and higher education, as well as technology professionals seeking specialization and those looking to migrate to the field.
The course does not require prior experience. An important characteristic of the “Good Hackers” course is that it is not necessary to have prior experience in cybersecurity to enroll.
Furthermore, it is reported that students will receive certificates upon completing each module. This, from RNP’s perspective, expands students’ job opportunities and encourages the gradual inclusion of new qualified professionals in the cybersecurity sector.
How to Participate in the Course
Individuals interested in being part of the “good hackers” course should visit the RNP website. There, it will be possible to check more details about the initiative, which is currently paused for registrations but is expected to reopen next month.
About the Good Hackers Program
According to RNP, the “Good Hackers” program will change the professional trajectory of thousands of people. This is because, with the seal of quality from SENAI and the RNP Higher School of Networks, the program, according to the organization, offers free training for 30,000 students, regardless of their level of experience.
A total of five learning pathways will be available, from Leveling to Technological Residency, with synchronous and asynchronous classes. Additionally, the program also finances R&D projects and promotes competitions and events.
Finally, through the National Cybersecurity Hub, the initiative will also connect students, professionals, research labs, startups, and institutions, strengthening the Brazilian cybersecurity ecosystem.
