The Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG) – Arinos Campus, considered one of the best technical education institutions in Brazil, is currently accepting applications for the free EAD technical course in Information Technology for the Internet. The program is offered through Announcement No. 158/2025, with classes scheduled to begin in August.
With a duration of one and a half years, the course is entirely free and combines online classes with weekly in-person meetings in the evenings, allowing students to balance studies with other daily activities.

Seat Reservation and Quota System
IFNMG adopts a seat reservation system, in accordance with federal legislation. Part of the spots is reserved for:
- Graduates of public schools
- People with disabilities (PwD)
- Low-income candidates
- Black, mixed-race, indigenous, and quilombola people
The remaining spots will be filled through open competition, with separate draws for each category, ensuring transparency and equity in the selection process.
Free Registrations Until August 10
Registrations are 100% free and must be done online, through the electronic form available on the official IFNMG website. The application period runs from July 11 until 11:59 PM on August 10, 2025.
To participate, candidates must have:
- A valid and active email
- Identity document
- Proof of schooling (depending on the modality)
There is no registration fee, and there are no requirements for an entrance exam or test.
Selection by Electronic Lottery
The selection of candidates will be done through a public electronic lottery, scheduled to take place on August 15, 2025, at 9 AM. Separate draws will be held for open competition, seat reservation, and affirmative actions.
The final results will be announced on August 18, with enrollment expected to start on August 19, 2025.
