Free Courses Offered By The Federal Institute
There are seven Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) courses available: Administrative Assistant, Spanish I, Spanish II, English I, English II, Computer Operator, and Seller. These courses are available in 17 municipalities: Amambai, Antônio João, Aquidauana, Camapuã, Campo Grande, Corumbá, Costa Rica, Coxim, Dourados, Jardim, Nova Alvorada do Sul, Nova Andradina, Ponta Porã, Ribas do Rio Pardo, São Gabriel do Oeste, Sonora, and Três Lagoas.

In many locations, however, the spots for the Administrative Assistant, Computer Operator, and Seller courses are unlimited, eliminating the need for a lottery. All registrants for these courses will have guaranteed enrollment.
For the Spanish II and English II courses, candidates will need to take an online placement test. Additionally, these language courses will include a weekly in-person meeting.
Classes Will Begin On August 12 For Spanish And English Courses, And On September 16 For Administrative Assistant, Computer Operator, And Seller Courses.
The electronic lottery for the courses that require selection will take place on June 7. The final ranking and the first call for enrollment will be announced on June 18. From June 19 to 23, the placement tests for the language courses will be conducted, with results expected on the 26th.
Those called in the first round must complete their enrollment between July 1 and 10. If there are still spots available, new calls will be made.
Classes will begin on August 12 for Spanish and English courses, and on September 16 for Administrative Assistant, Computer Operator, and Seller courses.
Enrollment
Enrollment is free and must be done on the Candidate Page of the Selection Center. Those without internet access can use the computers available at the Relationship Center (Cerel) of the IFMS campuses or teaching centers.
To enroll, the candidate must register or update their details on the Candidate Page, access the ‘Open Registrations’ tab and select ‘Notice No. 026/2024 – Initial And Continuing Education EaD – 2024/2’. Then, simply click on ‘Submit Enrollment’, choose the desired campus/location, verify the selected options, and submit the enrollment. The confirmation of enrollment will be sent to the email registered with the Selection Center.
