Cecierj Opens Registrations for 16 Free Online Courses with Certificate. There Are More Than 5,000 Places Available in Areas Such as Management, Technology, ESG, and Tourism. Registrations Until August 7.
The Cecierj Foundation, linked to the Secretary of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Rio de Janeiro, has opened a new cycle of opportunities for those seeking free online courses with a certificate and wanting to qualify without spending anything. The 2025.2 notice offers more than 5,000 places in 16 EAD courses, completely free and with a workload between 160 and 180 hours. Registrations are already open and can be made until August 7, 2025, directly on the foundation’s website.
In addition to being free, the courses are certified, meaning that graduates will be able to officially prove their training for professional purposes, in resumes or selection processes.
Cecierj Free Courses: Training for Different Areas of the Market
The courses have been designed to meet areas with high labor demand, including sectors such as management, business, technology, tourism, culture, and sustainability. Among the options, the following stand out:

Take a 100% online and free Nursing course at the Federal University: UFPB calls 5 thousand technicians for specializations with up to 300 hours, training in emergency, surgical center, and neonatal ICU, in addition to a certificate recognized by SUS.

Take a 100% free distance learning course at USP: the university opens 10,000 spots with a free certificate in training on AI, data-driven marketing, CAC, ROI, and automation, with live online classes for all of Brazil in May 2026.

Each candidate can enroll in up to two courses per semester, provided they meet the basic requirements, such as minimum age of 18 years and complete elementary education (some courses require complete or ongoing high school).
Online Courses with Certificate: How the Registration Works
The process is 100% online and accessible. Just access the Cecierj Foundation website by August 7, 2025, fill in personal information, and attach digital copies of CPF and ID. The absence of these documents invalidates the registration.
The differential of the selection process is that there is no exam. Selection will be done through a public lottery, based on the result of the Federal Lottery on August 9, 2025. Each registration generates a number for the candidate to compete for the available spots.
