This Week, There’s a Fair Designed to Help Indebted People Negotiate Their Debts with Attractive Discounts.

A partnership between the Postal Service, the Desenrola Program, and Serasa will be responsible for promoting, on Thursday (21), the so-called “D-Day of the Mega Fair.” According to the information, the initiative, which has the support of the Ministry of Finance, is the largest action against delinquency ever held in the country.

According to the information, on the mentioned day, technicians and specialists in financial education will be present in 27 central Postal Service offices. This includes all state capitals, where they will talk to the public.

Discounts of Over 90%

The fair scheduled for this Thursday will have significant discounts, reaching up to 96%. According to the Ministry of Finance, this is an unprecedented move that aims, in addition to the discounts, to guide millions of willing debtors to take advantage of the last week of the debt relief campaign, which involves 700 companies from all sectors, as well as utility companies for energy and water.

Decline in Delinquency

This initiative, called “D-Day Against Debt,” comes at a time when Brazil is experiencing a slight decrease in the number of delinquent individuals. According to data, in February, for instance, the country saw a reduction of 30,500 negative CPFs compared to the previous month.

In an interview with the “Valor Econômico” newspaper, Pedro Dias Lopes, vice president of the credit bureau, stated that “the connection between the Desenrola Program, the Postal Service, over 700 private sector companies, and utility providers for energy and water is the biggest demonstration of strength ever made by Serasa to provide financial guidance and facilitate debt negotiation.”

Another individual who also spoke on the subject, still to the aforementioned newspaper, was Fabiano Silva, president of the Postal Service. According to him, the fact that the Postal Service is present in all cities across the country means that the institution has the duty to “act so that Brazilians have access to opportunities like the ‘Mega Fair Desenrola and Serasa,’ thus fulfilling an important social role for the Brazilian people.”

How to Make a Deal at the Fair

To negotiate debts, individuals can go to a Postal Service institution or to websites like Serasa, for example. According to the information, the addresses and operating hours of the agencies can be checked on the app and Postal Service website.

On the other hand, consumers across the country can also check the official Serasa channels and negotiate with discounts from the “Mega Serasa and Desenrola Fair” online.
