Forum Subsea Technologies Secures Orders from DOF Subsea for Supply of Three Perry XLX-C Ultracompact Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
Forum announced on Tuesday that DOF Subsea would deploy the vehicles on three of its ROV support vessels for recently awarded projects in Brazil. The ROVs will be manufactured at Forum’s facilities in the UK in Kirkbymoorside, Yorkshire, and delivered in the first quarter of this year.
The compact 150HP XLX-C vehicles rated for 2,000 meters, along with the compact Dynacon LARS designs, are the first of their kind to be delivered to the market.

According to the company, these latest Perry ROVs are powered by a primary and auxiliary hydraulic system of 150HP, providing unmatched thrust in an ROV of this class.
