On the heels of investments greenctechs around the world, the company has a leap in revenue in the last three years
Drivetech, a Brazilian company founded in 2007 and headquartered in the municipality of Sertãozinho, in the Ribeirão Preto Metropolitan Region, in the interior of São Paulo, celebrates significant revenues between 2019 and 2022 in businesses involving clean energy. The company jumped from BRL 20 million to BRL 120 million due to sales of solutions for energy transition in new and modern plants of multinationals in the agricultural sector.
Drivetech's main business is certified low and medium voltage panels, a key product for the operation of new bioparks for the production of biofuels and bioenergy. According to the company, these technologies are in the main industrial plants in Brazil, with at least 30 custom projects since the foundation, leading to an investment of BRL 20 million in the expansion of the industrial park, which goes from 2,5 square meters to an area of 5 m2.
Among the consolidated businesses in clean energy, are the electrical systems at the Coruripe plants, in Alagoas, and Vale do Pontal, in Minas Gerais, belonging to Companhia Mineira de Açúcar e Álcool, which is one of the largest VHP (raw sugar) and electricity producers in the country, in addition to Delta Sucroenergia, Vale, Bunge, Ambev, Inpasa and root, which intends to build around 20 2G Ethanol industrial plants by 2030.

Projection for the future
Since the forms of energy generation through clean sources are a global necessity, promoting a natural movement of technological innovations and engineering solutions, which are increasingly requested by multinational giants in the journey for the decarbonization of the planet, Drivetech makes an optimistic projection for 2023. The company estimates revenues for next year at 20%.
Around the world, according to Allied Market Research, investments in clean energy startups have grown more and more. Since 2018, the sector has reached US$ 6,85 billion, and should reach US$ 44,61 billion in 2026. Here in Brazil alone, there are more than 150 startups mapped with this objective.
Brazil stands out in the world when it comes to renewable energy. Currently, the country occupies the 15th position in the Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index.
How Brazil has grown in renewable energy
Large companies must be the main characters in the decarbonization process in the world, in addition to government incentives and initiatives by large nations. With the development of innovations, it is possible to achieve the global goal of reducing the temperature of the planet.
And Brazil has the potential to contribute to a cleaner world. About 85% of the country's energy matrix comes from sources with low emission of pollutants (hydraulics, natural gas, wind, biomass and solar).
With the advancement of renewable matrices, it is natural that there is a reduction in the demand for thermoelectric plants, most of which are powered by coal. In 2021, the use of thermal plants was 21% in the Brazilian electricity matrix, and now in 2022 it has dropped to 9%.
Distributed generation of solar energy in Brazil jumped from 8,4 GW to 14 GW of installed power, resulting in a growth of 66,7% compared to 2021. From the end of 2021 until now, there has been an additional R$76,7 billion in investments in the sector, bringing Brazil to fourth place among the countries that invested the most in solar energy.
When it comes to wind energy in Brazil, there is a projection for the year 2022 to end with around 2,8GW of installed capacity. In 2021 it was 2,1GW.
