Investment of R$ 213.8 Million Promises to Transform Road Infrastructure and Improve Mobility in the Paraná Region!
The long-awaited highway duplication on the Paraná Coast is about to become a reality. The PR-412, which connects Matinhos to Pontal do Paraná, will be modernized with concrete lanes, promising durability and safety. Recently, the bidding session revealed AM2 Brasil Engenharia Ltda. as the top-rated bidder, with a proposal of R$ 213.8 million to carry out the work. Now, the company needs to submit the necessary documents for review by the Paraná State Department of Highways (DER/PR).
Road Transformation and Benefits for the Community
The duplication work will cover 14.28 kilometers, starting near the bridge over the Matinhos Canal and extending to PR-407, at Praia de Leste. The project includes a central lane in rigid concrete pavement, marginal lanes in asphalt, as well as new bridges and a viaduct. As a result, the current structure will be widened and modernized, providing a safer and more efficient route for drivers. The inclusion of sidewalks and bike lanes aims to meet the needs of pedestrians and cyclists, promoting more sustainable mobility.
Modern and Sustainable Infrastructure
The project also includes a new lighting network, which will be installed on the central and marginal lanes, in the viaducts, and near the bridges. The drainage system will be positioned under the marginal lanes, minimizing interference and ensuring efficiency in rainwater drainage.
