New Pulsar N150 Arrives for R$ 16,300 with Included Fees, Sporty Look, Good Urban Performance, and Focus on Daily Economy

Bajaj launched the new Pulsar N150 in early June, and with that, set its own record. Now, the brand offers the cheapest Indian motorcycle in Brazil, with a listed price of R$ 16,300.

Even with its sporty look, the bike’s proposal is simple: to be practical for everyday use. During its launch in São Paulo, the N150 was tested in an urban rally, and it showed that it can be an interesting option for those seeking a low price and usability.

One of the great differentiators lies in the sales policy. The disclosed value includes all fees and shipping, regardless of the region of the country. In practice, this ensures that the consumer pays exactly R$ 16,300 — without surprises when closing the purchase.

While driving through the streets of São Paulo, the Pulsar N150 proved to be lightweight and easy to ride. The maneuvers were simple, particularly with regard to acceleration and speed recovery. The single-cylinder engine with 149.6 cm³ delivers up to 14.5 horsepower and 1.3 kgfm of torque. The gearbox has five speeds.

The LED headlights provide good illumination. In addition, there is lighting on the handlebar buttons, which helps the rider in low-light environments. However, the left turn signal buttons stood out for being too stiff upon first contact.

The riding position is similar to that of other bikes in its category. It doesn’t stand out, but it also doesn’t disappoint. The same applies to the suspensions.

The braking system, despite having ABS, was pointed out as a weak point. The impression when braking is that the performance should be greater. The drum rear brake may influence this perception.

Despite this, the motorcycle has good attractions for those who ride a lot. The presence of smartphone connectivity and a USB port makes it easier for delivery workers and others who spend the day on the streets.

Produced at Bajaj’s factory in Manaus (AM), the Pulsar N150 is already available at the brand’s dealerships in Brazil.
