According to Jurandir Picanço, Energy Consultant at Fiec (Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará) and President of the Sectoral Chamber of Renewable Energies of Ceará, the last auction by Aneel was very positive for Ceará. He stated that, in addition to the approved projects, the state will also benefit from wind sources, as it has large companies producing blades and wind turbines installed. He cited the cases of the Danish company Vestas and the Ceará-based Aeris Energy.
