Itaqui Port Located in São Luís, Maranhão, Stands Out Through MInfra as One of the 3 Best Ports in Brazil, According to the Ports + Brazil Award.
Itaqui Port achieved second place in the Port Authorities Management Index (IGAP), alongside the ports of Imbituba and Santos (SC), with a 0.5 point difference from the first-place ports in Paraná, and in third place, for Execution of Planned Investments, the Ports of Paraná and Itajaí (SC), according to the MInfra report.

Itaqui Port in São Luís Accumulates Performance in Two More Categories of the Award
In two other categories of the award, Itaqui Port in São Luís accumulates winning performance. In the EBITDA Margin category, which aims to evaluate, in percentages, the development of port authorities compared to the previous year, it is noteworthy that Itaqui Port has a recent history of genuine revolution in this capital generation index: it made a giant leap from 0.1% in 2014 to 48.7% in 2015, stabilizing at 49.6% in 2019.
