Vello Bike, a Company from Austria, Launched a New Electric Foldable Bike That Weighs Less Than 10 Kg. The Model Has a Capacity to Carry Over 200 Kg with Seats in Its Back.
The electric bike market is growing rapidly and the sector is also boosted by the availability of increasingly lighter models, considering that weight is an essential factor for more active cyclists. This is the case of the Vello Bike, a company from Austria, which launched two models of foldable bikes this year, both electric and lightweight. The company, already established as a foldable bike brand in Austria and Germany, introduced a model that weighs only 9.9 kg in July of this year.
Foldable Electric Bike Features Cutting-Edge Technologies
According to the industrial designer and founder of the company, Valentin Vodev, with its patented frame made entirely of titanium weighing 1.9 kg and an eight-second folding mechanism, it surpasses the limits of any other electric bike on the market.
The executive also emphasizes that the version uses standard components available on the market. The bike features four integrated sensors for connectivity through an app, as well as an electronic motor lock against theft.

Rare pickup truck in Brazil is startling due to its size and price: Ford F-350 Platinum imported from the USA features a V8 Power Stroke, 24-inch tires, luxury seats, and the power to carry 3 tons in the bed or tow 18 tons as if it were a toy.
For those even more inclined towards technology, the model can also offer an external remote control. Additionally, there is a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) similar to what is used in Formula 1 cars.
This system allows the battery to be recharged during braking or downhill descents. When the battery of this Vello foldable bike is fully charged, it offers a range of up to 50 km while using the full power of the motor.
In recovery mode, the distance it can travel is nearly limitless. Furthermore, it can also be equipped with gear systems, depending on whether it will mainly be used in an urban or rural area, making it a perfect foldable electric bike for any environment.
Foldable Bike Can Support Up to 210 Kg
Sub, nicknamed the cargo bike, is one of Vello Bike’s latest electric bicycle models. The vehicle will be built in two configurations: a titanium model weighing 24 kg and a 28 kg version in Cromoly steel.
Cromoly steel is known to be a higher-grade steel than steel with lower carbon content. The load capacity of 210 kg makes it the best option to replace a car on shorter trips, be it to visit a store or take the kids to school.
With space for two passengers and additional storage in the front trunk, the Vello foldable bike has everything needed for short trips. In both models, the brand’s tires keep the center of gravity low, providing a stable and easy-to-maneuver bike, regardless of whether it is loaded or has passengers.
The cargo electric bike includes a tool-free accessory system that allows for easy and quick reconfiguration. Child seats and cargo baskets can be quickly removed and mounted without any tools.

The company Decathlon plans to bring a new bike to the market that is ready to use with just one button. The vehicle is designed for those looking for an easy-to-handle, use, and store foldable electric bike.
The company’s new bicycle has been developed so that the transition between “pedestrian” and cyclist and vice versa can be done without headaches. The model uses a patented automatic hinge closure system so that it is not necessary to operate levers.
