Swiss Startup Surprises and Creates the Fastest Electric Vehicle Charger on the Planet
Electric vehicles are the future of transportation. Knowing this, several companies around the world are working to develop new technologies that make life easier for people who have switched from fossil fuel-powered cars to electric vehicles. Aiming to solve a major problem, the Swiss startup ABB announced to the public the Terra 360 charger, a device that promises to be by far the fastest electric vehicle charger on the planet. This revolutionary device promises to fully recharge the battery in just 15 minutes.
The announcement of the project is followed by another major announcement of a significant investment that the company recently received. A share offering valued ABB at no less than US$ 3 billion, demonstrating that there are many serious investors who strongly believe in the project. The company believes that, with the growing use of electric vehicles worldwide, it will become one of the market leaders.
The company anticipates that the first ultrafast chargers will start to be installed in Europe by the end of this year. Other parts of the world like the United States, Latin America, and Asia are expected to receive the equipment only next year.

How the Fast Charger Works
The ABB, the fastest electric vehicle charging equipment in the world, promises its customers that with just 3 minutes of charge, it will already be possible to have a range of 100 KM. The model can be used with any electric vehicle. Watch the presentation video for the project:
The company has entered a rapidly growing market. Only last year, a 41% increase in the number of electric vehicles worldwide was recorded. This year, the number of electric cars is even higher, growing by no less than 140%.
