“Marisa has been increasingly advancing in the use of energy from renewable sources. In 2021, 61% of our spaces, such as stores, distribution centers, and offices, began to be supplied with clean energy. That is why we are very pleased with this partnership with Raízen, which is very important for the expansion of this initiative and signifies our commitment to reducing environmental impact.”

Partnership Will Open a New Perspective in the Retail Sector, Stimulating Competitors
The constant pursuit of environmental responsibility is something increasingly demanded by consumers, who have become more favorably inclined toward sustainability in recent years. Thus, companies across all sectors have felt obliged to fulfill their roles in reducing environmental damage.
In the retail sector, this trend is growing, and Marisa presents a new perspective on renewable energy for competitors. The trend is that industry players will also seek to change their energy matrix to meet market demand and not fall behind this initiative taken by Marisa.
Raízen also raises its national profile by showcasing its diverse functions and capacity to serve various markets. Thus, the partnership only brings benefits for sustainability and environmental responsibility and points to an even more promising future in the national retail scenario.
