After Gaining Full Ownership of the Atlanta Field, Enauta Resumes Its Total Operation and Already Estimates a Production of 20,000 Barrels of Oil Per Day. Moreover, Next Year, a New Well Will Be Drilled
On Wednesday (25), the oil company Enauta reported that the Atlanta Field is back in operation with all wells of the Early Production System, after repairs to the heaters were completed. The company stated in a note that it plans to produce about 20,000 barrels of oil per day with the three wells operating, following the stabilization period. This estimate could represent a daily production record for the company.

Additionally, activities are being carried out to enhance the water treatment capacity on the FPSO Petrojarl I and thereby increase oil barrel production.
The completion of the first phase projects a 35% increase in treated water volume and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The company also stated that this month it initiated the bidding process for the equipment and services necessary for the fourth oil well to be drilled, expanding the oil production capacity of the Atlanta Field.

Enauta Resumes Oil Well Operations
In June, according to Enauta, the ANP approved the company to take over 100% of the Atlanta Field, with the goal of doubling the barrels of oil produced by the company.
According to Enauta’s CEO, Décio Oddone, the definitive transfer of the Atlanta Field has allowed the company to take another important step toward expanding its cash generation. In July, the company faced issues with two oil wells. A week later, in a relevant fact, the company reported that one of the producing wells in the Atlanta Field, which experienced a pumping failure, resumed operations, meaning the field now operates with two wells.
According to the company, at that time, the production of barrels of oil returned to a level higher than observed before the halt, in the range of 17,000 to 18,000 barrels of oil per day.
