Innovative Partnership Aims for Significant Revenue Increase and Offers Special Conditions to Franchisees

Energy Brazil, the leader in the solar energy franchise network in Brazil, joins BYD, the leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment in the segment, launching a revolutionary photovoltaic kit. The strategic bet aims to increase the company’s revenue by over R$100 million in the next two years. The kit is a complete package that includes panels, structure, cables, connectors, and an inverter.

Market Leaders Join in Strategic Partnership

During the ABF Expo, the largest franchising event in Latin America, Túlio Fonseca, CEO of Energy Brazil, made the announcement and spoke about the decision to partner with BYD. “We are facing one of the most crucial moments for the solar sector in Brazil. We identified the opportunity to combine our strengths with one of the largest private energy corporations in the world to create an innovative and amazing product,” he revealed. He also highlighted that the product’s differentiator is the recognized quality seal from BYD and Energy Brazil, in addition to the competitive price.

New Photovoltaic Kit Expands Energy Brazil’s Operations

According to the executive from Energy Brazil, the company’s new photovoltaic kit will serve the entire distributed generation chain, from microgeneration to minigeneration. “We are the largest and most awarded franchise network in the solar sector. With the launch of our kit, we aim to reach new horizons,” he stated. It’s worth noting that Brazil recently reached 30 GW (gigawatts) of installed solar capacity, and the self-generation sector has over 2 million plants producing energy daily.

For franchisees who choose to sell the new kit from Energy Brazil by BYD, exclusive benefits will be offered for a limited time, such as royalty exemption, no costs with engineering projects, one year of free consumption monitoring, and free shipping nationwide. Energy Brazil’s intention is to ensure the competitiveness and attractiveness of the products both for the end consumer and for the over 500 franchisees in the network.

Shared Vision Drives Growth in the Solar Sector

Earlier this month, some franchisees from Energy Brazil had the opportunity to visit BYD’s factory in Campinas to get to know the facilities of their future partners. Bruno Beloto, sales supervisor at BYD, emphasized the synergy between the companies, stating that both view solar energy as the future of Brazil’s energy matrix. “It is an honor to be partners with Energy Brazil in this launch. We understand the need to offer quality and accessible products to the market. We believe this partnership will further strengthen our presence in the solar energy segment,” he said.

Solar energy in Brazil has shown significant growth in recent years, both in terms of installed capacity and the number of photovoltaic systems. Projections from ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy) indicate that solar photovoltaic energy is expected to grow by 10 gigawatts (GW) in 2023, or 42.4% compared to the estimated solar capacity at the end of 2022, reaching over 34 GW. This total will mainly come from small and medium solar systems installed in residences, small businesses, rural properties, and public buildings. Furthermore, it is expected that the renewable source will generate over 300,000 new jobs and attract more than 50 billion reais in investments in the sector, solidifying solar energy as the second largest energy source in the country.
