Innovative partnership aims at significant increase in revenue and offers special conditions to franchisees

Energy Brasil, leader in the solar energy franchise network in Brazil, joins forces with BYD, the main producer and supplier of equipment in the segment, launching a revolutionary photovoltaic kit. The strategic bet aims to increase the company's revenue by more than R$100 million over the next two years. The kit is a complete package that includes panel, frame, cables, connectors and drive.

Market leaders unite in strategic partnership

During ABF Expo, the biggest franchising event in Latin America, Túlio Fonseca, CEO of Energy Brasil, made the announcement and spoke about the decision to partner with BYD. “We are facing one of the most crucial moments for the solar sector in Brazil. We identified the opportunity to combine our strengths with one of the largest private energy corporations in the world to create an innovative and incredible product,” he revealed. He also pointed out that the product's differential is the recognized seal of quality from BYD and Energy Brasil, in addition to the competitive price.

New photovoltaic kit expands Energy Brasil's operations

According to the Energy Brasil executive, the company's new photovoltaic kit will serve the entire distributed generation chain, from microgeneration to minigeneration. “We are the largest and most awarded franchise network in the solar sector. With the launch of our kit, we want to reach new horizons, ”he declared. It is worth remembering that Brazil recently reached 30 GW (gigawatts) of installed power in solar energy, and the self-generation sector has more than 2 million plants producing energy daily.

For franchisees who opt for the sale of the new Energy Brasil by BYD kit, exclusive benefits will be offered for a limited time, such as royalty exemption, absence of costs with engineering projects, one year of free consumption monitoring and free shipping for the entire country. Energy Brasil's intention is to guarantee the competitiveness and attractiveness of the products both for the final consumer and for the more than 500 franchisees in the chain.

Shared vision drives solar sector growth

At the beginning of the month, some Energy Brasil franchisees had the opportunity to visit the BYD factory in Campinas to see the facilities of future partners. Bruno Beloto, sales supervisor at BYD, highlighted the harmony between the companies, stating that both see solar energy as the future of the Brazilian energy matrix. “It is an honor to partner with Energy Brasil in this launch. We understand the need to offer quality and affordable products to the market. We believe this partnership will further strengthen our presence in the solar energy segment,” he said.

Solar energy in Brazil has grown sharply in recent years, both in terms of installed power and the number of photovoltaic systems. Projections by ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy) indicate that photovoltaic solar energy should grow by 10 gigawatts (GW) in 2023, or 42,4% compared to the estimated solar power for the end of 2022, reaching more than 34 GW. This total will mainly come from small and medium-sized solar systems installed in homes, small businesses, rural properties and public buildings. In addition, the renewable source is expected to generate more than 300 new jobs and attract more than 50 billion reais in investments in the sector, solidifying solar energy as the second largest energy source in the country.
