Engie Brasil Energia, formerly Tractebel Energia, is one of the largest private energy generators in Brazil, holding a market share of about 6.2% in the Brazilian market. It has 85% of its installed capacity operated from clean and renewable sources. Its own installed capacity is 7,868.1 MW, composed of 31 plants operated by it, of which eleven are hydropower plants, three thermoelectric plants, and sixteen supplementary: three biomass, nine wind, two small hydropower plants (PCHs), and two solar.
