Peregrino Is Among The Ten Largest Fields in Operation in Brazil, According to Data from The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
The Field Has An Estimated Recoverable Reserve of 670 Million Barrels of Oil and Currently Produces Between 60,000 and 80,000 Barrels of Oil Per Day. Equinor Holds a 60% Stake, in Partnership With Sinochem, Which Holds 40%.
As One of The Most Challenging Fields in Brazil, Peregrino Has Achieved Milestones Along Its Path. When Equinor Started Operating, The Company Managed to Extract The Second Heaviest Oil Produced in Brazil.
Gradually, The Recovery Factor in The Field Increased, Surpassing The Initial Expectation of 10% and Rising to 16%. The Company Aims to Further Increase This Percentage.
