Distance learning specializations: innovative courses for next year
Fiocruz, through the Sérgio Arouca National School of Public Health (ENSP), announced vacancies for two distance learning specialization courses in 2024:
Continuing Education: Health and Education from an Integrative Perspective e Educational Technologies for Teaching Practice in Health Teaching at School.
Both courses aim to meet market demands and promote differentiated and accessible training.
Continuing education: health and education
Aimed at professionals interested in deepening their knowledge in the integration between health and education, this course offers 280 free places distributed across in-person support centers in seven Brazilian states.
The training is carried out in partnership with Open University of Brazil (UAB/MEC), which guarantees quality and national coverage.
Registration is open between the days November 21 and December 20, 2024. Below, see how the vacancies are divided:
- Alto Paraiso (GO): 35 vacancies
- Bars (PI): 35 vacancies
- Canguçu (RS): 35 vacancies
- Foz do Iguaçu (PR): 35 vacancies
- Emerald Garden (SP): 70 vacancies
- Oros (CE): 35 vacancies
- Sabara (MG): 35 vacancies
Selective Process
Candidates are selected based on a CV analysis and a letter of intent, with a maximum score of 10 points. The criteria include:
- Relevant experiences (up to 4 points);
- Letter of intent (up to 6 points).
To be approved, the candidate must achieve at least 6 points. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to those with a link to public service, greater experience or older age.
Educational technologies: innovation in health education
This course focuses on the critical use of technological tools in the educational environment, training professionals in basic education to integrate health and technology in schools.
Training will be offered totally online, with pedagogical meetings via digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams and YouTube.
For this specialization, the following were opened: 82 main positions and 54 for substitutes, with support centers located in different states. See where there are opportunities:

Registration and selection
Submissions go up to December 30, 2024 and are free. As in the previous course, the evaluation will be based on the analysis of the resume and letter of intent. Among the criteria evaluated are:
- Professional experience in the area;
- Use of the course in professional practice;
- Personal reasons for choosing the course;
- Availability to follow mandatory activities.
