EAD Specializations: Innovative Courses for Next Year
Fiocruz, through the Sérgio Arouca National School of Public Health (ENSP), announced spots for two EAD specialization courses in 2024:
Ongoing Education: Health and Education from an Integrative Perspective and Educational Technologies for Teaching Health in Schools.
Both courses aim to meet market demands and promote differentiated and accessible training.
Ongoing Education: Health and Education
Targeted at professionals interested in deepening their knowledge in the integration of health and education, this course offers 280 free spots distributed across face-to-face support hubs in seven Brazilian states.
The training is conducted in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB/MEC), ensuring quality and nationwide reach.
Applications are open from November 21 to December 20, 2024. Below, see how the spots are divided:

- Barras (PI): 35 spots
- Canguçu (RS): 35 spots
- Foz do Iguaçu (PR): 35 spots
- Jardim Esmeralda (SP): 70 spots

Selection Process
The selection of candidates considers the analysis of resumes and a letter of intent, with a maximum score of 10 points. The criteria include:
- Relevant experience (up to 4 points);
- Letter of intent (up to 6 points).
To be approved, candidates need to score at least 6 points. In case of ties, priority will be given to those with public service ties, longer work experience, or older age.
Educational Technologies: Innovation in Health Education
This course focuses on the critical use of technological tools in the educational environment, empowering basic education professionals to integrate health and technology in schools.
The training will be offered entirely online, with pedagogical meetings via digital platforms like Microsoft Teams and YouTube.
For this specialization, 82 main spots and 54 for alternates have been opened, with support hubs located in different states. See where opportunities are available:
