Strategic Acquisition of Wind Farms
Statkraft, a giant in the hydropower sector and leader in renewable energy in Europe, announced a significant expansion in Brazil. The company completed the purchase of two wind farms from EDPR in Rio Grande do Norte, marking its presence in yet another Brazilian state. This strategic move, finalized on December 29, 2023, represents a significant milestone for Statkraft, which now operates the Jerusalem and Boqueirão parks, with an impressive installed capacity of 260MW.
