The Alubar Group is the largest manufacturer of aluminum electric cables in Latin America and is present in the main transmission line projects in Brazil, in partnership with utilities and engineering companies, in addition to supplying its products to the electricity distribution market, industries, and civil construction. The Alubar Group consists of the companies Alubar Metais e Cabos S.A. and Alubar Energia S.A.

The Alubar Metais e Cabos S.A. is located in the municipality of Barcarena, State of Pará, and currently has about 90% of its workforce coming from the city of Barcarena and surrounding areas, which generates jobs and income for 1,000 people directly and indirectly.

The company also sources 80% of the materials and 70% of the services required for production from Pará suppliers, which reinforces the company’s commitment to the development of local industry and services.
