On the last Thursday (02/11), the notice for the sale of assets from the São Fernando sugar and ethanol plant, located in Dourados (MS), was launched. The proposal must necessarily maintain the Net Present Value (NPV), using the TLP (long-term rate) from BNDES as the discount index for calculation; the number of installments; any grace period; description of guarantees; demonstration of know-how to manage such a line of activity.
Proposals for upfront payment are exempt from the previous requirements. Thus, proposals for payment with NPV at the minimum market value of R$ 200 million will not be accepted.

About the São Fernando Sugar and Ethanol Plant – MS
The São Fernando ethanol plant in MS was inaugurated in 2009, at the time one of the largest sugar and ethanol production projects in Brazil. In 2013, the company entered judicial recovery and four years later declared bankruptcy. The bankrupt estate of the plant is one of the few bankruptcy systems in continuation.
With 60,000 ha, the ethanol plant São Fernando in MS has an installed capacity to process 4.5 million tons of sugarcane per harvest; and a production capacity of 330,000 tons of sugar and 150,000 m³ of anhydrous ethanol.
The administration of Vinicius Coutinho Consulting and Expertise processed 1 million tons last year and plans to process 600,000 tons this harvest.
