A Hatch That Mixes the Heritage of the Uno With the Innovation of Stellantis
The Fiat Grande Panda was unveiled in Europe in 2024. It emerges as the natural successor to the Argo and also as the heir to the legendary Uno.
National production will begin in 2026, at the Stellantis facility in Betim (MG). Thus, the brand reinforces its presence in the market and keeps the Fiat tradition alive.
Design Inspired by the Uno and Balanced Proportions
The Grande Panda measures 3.99 meters in length and has a 2.54-meter wheelbase. These measurements are equivalent to those of the Citroën C3 and the Argo.

Mild Hybrid Engine and Global Technology
In 2024, the hatch was tested in Balocco, Italy, in a mild hybrid version with 48V. The setup combines a 29 hp electric motor with a 1.2 turbo engine producing 101 hp.
Thus, the combined power reaches 110 hp. This system, also planned for the Brazilian Jeep Commander in 2026, acts as performance support.
It ensures additional efficiency, while allowing short trips in electric mode. However, its main function is to enhance performance with economy.
Confirmed Options for Brazil
In Brazil, the Grande Panda will have two main engine options. The first will be the 1.0 Firefly naturally aspirated, delivering up to 75 hp and 10.7 kgfm of torque.
The second will be the T200 1.0 turbo with up to 130 hp and 20.4 kgfm of torque. This option will feature a mild hybrid system with 12V, already present in Fastback, Pulse, and Peugeot 208.
Available transmissions will include a five-speed manual and CVT with seven simulated gears. Thus, the hatch will offer varied alternatives to the public.
Fiat’s Bet for the Future
Stellantis projects the Grande Panda as one of the most strategic models in its national line starting in 2026.
With confirmed production in Betim (MG), the hatch combines the tradition of the Uno with modern technological solutions.
Therefore, Fiat bets on a compact that unites history, efficiency, and innovation to attract Brazilian consumers.
