New Fiat Uno Will Arrive Soon And May Land In The Brazilian Automotive Industry. The Popular Car That Marked Generations Will Come With Electric Motors And Promises To Be One Of The Cheapest.
Fiat has undoubtedly been standing out in the automotive industry. The brand even made headlines recently when it announced the return of the Fiat Uno, one of the most beloved popular cars in the market that now promises to be a nightmare for the competition.
The return of the Fiat Uno in 2024, now as the Fiat Panda, came as great news to the brand’s fans. The model, which is a highly cherished popular car in Brazil, had been discontinued in 2022, leaving many drivers saddened. However, now under the new name, it promises to crush its rivals in the market.
The brand’s CEO, Oliver François, announced that starting this year, all Fiat launches in the European Automotive Industry will be fully electric, including the new Fiat Uno. The model will not only be a reissue of the Uno, it will come with significant visual and structural transformations.

New Popular Car From Fiat May Arrive In The Global Automotive Industry Fully Electrified
Using the CMP platform, shared with the upcoming version of the Citroën C3, it will have a solid foundation for this new phase. With options for electric motors, the new popular Fiat Uno will feature models with 82 horsepower and more powerful versions with 109 hp, ensuring performance and efficiency.
Until now, the price and versions of the new Fiat Uno 2024 set to arrive in Brazil have not been disclosed. However, the automaker claims that it will be one of the most affordable electric vehicles in the Brazilian automotive industry, remaining a popular car.
New Popular Car From Fiat Has Leaked Information
The Fiat Panda is in Europe, just as the Fiat Uno once was in Brazil. A historic name that has existed since 1980 to the present day. A popular compact that sells well and even has a 4×4 version. Additionally, its next generation may be global.
According to the Italian website A AlVolante.it, patents for a new generation of the Panda have been registered in Italy and this new version will be based on the new Citroën e-C3. Although the models share similarities in the shapes of the doors, mirrors, and windshields, there are some unique design features, such as the front being a smooth surface interrupted by small headlights and a black bar at the bottom of the bumper.
Among the car’s main headlights, a bar has a small detail with five inclined bars, reminiscent of the Fiat logo from the 80s and 90s. The rear has a large black area that it’s unclear whether is entirely glass. The taillights are square, somewhat reminiscent of the Jeep Renegade, but with a bar connecting them.
New Fiat Uno Promises A Range Of 320 Km
According to the website, the new popular car will be manufactured in Serbia for the European market, with arrival in stores expected by the end of 2024. It also stated that the model will be produced in South America. However, it is unlikely that the launch will happen this year.
The car was set to go to Europe in its electric version; however, it will also have gasoline engines and hybrid options. Given that it is based on the e-C3, the expectation is that it will have an electric motor with 113 hp and a 44 kWh battery, providing around 320 km of range under the WLTP standard.
If produced here, the new generation of the Fiat Uno would use the same CMP platform as the C3 and C3 Aircross made in Porto Real (RJ). It would also have the electrified bases that the Stellantis group, owner of the Fiat and Citroën brands, has already presented. Since the name Panda was never used in the country, Fiat Uno would be a great option.
